The cables are made of copper-coated aluminum, which reduces the resistance of the cable and allows for a constant and effective transfer of charge. The jump starter cable has a length of 4.5 meters with a cross-sectional area of 35mm². Thanks to the length and cross-sectional area, it is possible to start vehicles with gasoline and diesel engines with up to 7.0 liters of displacement, as a peak current of up to 900A can be achieved, while a continuous current of 450A is provided. It is suitable for voltages of 12V and 24V. To prevent high wear and tear, the OSRAM BATTERYstart STARTER CABLE 900A is covered with flexible yet durable PVC, the insulated handles and clamps ensure additional safety and durability. The different colors of the cables and handles at the clamps reduce the risk of confusion between the positive and negative poles and thus the danger of incorrect connection to the battery. The included storage bag allows the cables to be stored gently and space-efficiently; conveniently, the manual is attached to the back of the storage bag and is thus quickly accessible.
