Lithium-ion batteries are indispensable in modern life, but they carry significant risks. The VLITEX E-Bike battery bag has been designed to actively slow down the spread of heat, smoke, and flames in the event of a fire, effectively protecting the surroundings. It provides valuable time and significantly increases safety when handling E-Bike batteries.

Maximum protection through innovative material technology

The bag is made of a multi-layer, heat-resistant fiberglass fabric with a total of five specialized layers. This construction offers very high temperature insulation as well as additional protection against mechanical impacts. The material can withstand temperatures of up to 1,000 °C for a short time, making it ideal for critical situations involving lithium-ion batteries.

Thoughtful safety concept in case of fire

When a battery undergoes thermal runaway, high temperatures, smoke, and toxic gases are generated. The VLITEX battery bag is designed to allow these to escape in a controlled manner. Three integrated smoke gas openings in the lid reduce pressure buildup, preventing the dangerous swelling or bursting of the bag. Compared to conventional storage solutions, the situation remains manageable and the risk of property damage is significantly reduced.

Robust construction for daily use

All seams are made with fire-resistant sewing thread. High-quality carrying handles with reinforced seams and a sturdy securing strap ensure safe and comfortable transport. The bag is maintenance-free, weather-resistant, and designed for regular use.
