Replacement Filter Compact

The replacement cartridge for the Acquatravel Compact filter ensures continued protection against sand, algae, rust, mucilage, biofilm and small insects. Replacing it is simple: open the housing, remove the white disc while keeping the o‑ring in place, take out the used filter, rinse the container and insert the new cartridge. After the last use, a few drops of Biochlor must be added to disinfect the filter. The silver inside has a bacteriostatic, not bactericidal, effect, meaning regular disinfection is essential to prevent bacterial or mold growth. A filter that has never been used has no expiration date, but once it has been wet, it must be replaced within one year. After weekend or holiday use, the filter should be removed, gently washed and allowed to dry completely.
